Here is the Roadworks update for Yorkshire and the Humber, issued by the Highways Agency:

SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER TO FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER

M1, Junction 32 (Thurcroft) to Junction 33 (Catcliffe), south of Rotherham
Moderate delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 32 (Thurcroft) and Junction 33 (Catcliffe) due to central reserve barrier works. There will be one lane closed in both directions, hard shoulder running and a 50mph speed limit, with three narrow lanes being maintained in each direction. Work takes place over 24 hours until 3 October.

M1, Junction 30 (Barlborough) to Junction 31 (Aston), south and east of Sheffield
Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston) due to renewal of road studs. There will be various lane closures in both directions until 1 October between 8pm and 6am.

In addition, the slip roads at Junction 31 (Aston) will also be closed, with moderate delays expected. The northbound exit slip road will be closed between 8pm and 6am until 27 September and the southbound entry slip road will be closed between 8pm and 6am until 28 September. Diversions will operate via Junction 33 of the M1.

M1, Junction 35 (Thorpe Hesley) to Junction 35a (Stocksbridge), east and north of Sheffield
Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 35 (Thorpe Hesley) and Junction 35a (Stocksbridge) due to central reserve barrier works. There will be one lane closed in both directions, hard shoulder running, narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed limit. Work takes place over 24 hours until 11 January.

M18, Junction 2 (Wadworth), south of Doncaster
Slight delays are expected at Junction 2 of the M18 (Wadworth) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures in both directions - including short lengths of full carriageway closures - with some hard shoulder running. There will also be some closures on the slip roads and the roundabout until 1 November. Work takes place from 8pm to 6am, and when the carriageway is closed, diversions will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads.

M18, Junction 6 (Thorne), north-east of Doncaster
Slight delays are expected at Junction 6 of the M18 (Thorne) due to bridge works. Two lanes in both directions will be closed between 8pm and 6am until 28 September.

M18, Junction 3 (St Catherine's) to Junction 4 (West Moor), south and east of Doncaster
Slight delays are expected on the M18 between Junction 3 (St Catherine's) and Junction 4 (West Moor) until 28 September due to bridge works and resurfacing. There will be various lane closures on the northbound carriageway between 9pm and 5.30am.

M18, Junction 6 (Thorne) to Junction 7 (Langham), north of Doncaster
Moderate delays are expected on the M18 between Junction 6 (Thorne) and Junction 7 (Langham) due to resurfacing. The northbound carriageway will be closed with traffic in contraflow on the southbound carriageway. There will also be a 50 mph speed restriction. Work takes place over 24 hours from 1 October to 20 December.

M62, Junction 29 (Lofthouse) to Junction 30 (Rothwell), south of Leeds
Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 29 (Lofthouse) and Junction 30 (Rothwell) until 3 October due to central reserve barrier works. There will be one lane closed in both directions, hard shoulder running and a 50mph speed limit, with three narrow lanes being maintained in each direction.

M62, Junction 25 (Brighouse) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Leeds
Slight delays are expected overnight on the M62 between Junction 25 (Brighouse) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to lighting column works. There will be hard shoulder closures and lane one will be closed between 8pm and 6am, until mid November.

M180, Junction 1 (North Ings) to Junction 3 (Midmoor), west of Scunthorpe
Slight delays are expected on the M180 between Junction 1 (North Ings) and Junction 3 (Midmoor) due to central reserve barrier works and resurfacing. Between Junction 1 and Junction 2 (Tudworth), there will be various lane closures in both directions and a 50mph speed restriction. Work takes place over 24 hours until 27 October.

Between Junction 2 and Junction 3, there will be various lane closures and hard shoulder running in both directions until 28 September between 8pm and 6am.

A63, Hull, South Cave to M62 Junction 38 (North Cave)
Moderate delays are expected on the A63 in Hull between South Cave and Junction 38 of the M62 (North Cave) due to renewal of road markings. The westbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am on 26 and 27 September. Diversions operate via the local road network.

A160, Brocklesby to Manby, west of Grimsby
Slight delays are expected on the A160 between Brocklesby and Manby due to carriageway survey works. There will be various lane closures in both directions from 28 September to 29 January between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A1, Junction 38 (Redhouse), north of Doncaster
Slight delays are expected at the interchange with the A1 (M) Junction 38, A1 and A638 at Redhouse due to electrical works. There will be various hard shoulder, slip road and lane closures in both directions until the end of October between 8pm and 6am.
