Trans Pennine Trail comes through Hull

Trans Pennine Trail (TPT)

Cyclists, Walkers, Runners or Horse Riders can enjoy a Coast-to-Coast trail from the Irish Sea to the North Sea, from Southport to Hornsea along the 215 mile TPT.  Spurs off north to Leeds and York, and south to Chesterfield mean there is a total of 350 miles of route. And local readers will be pleased to see the trail comes right through Hull.

Mapped and signposted all the way, the Trans Pennine Trail is largely traffic-free and will take you alongside rivers and canals, past dramatic scenery and over the Pennines - though the whole route is relatively level.  Many sections are suitable for families, gentle exercise and people using wheelchairs and pushchairs.

So whether you want to go out for the day, or if you want to do the full coast-to-coast, the Trans Pennine Trail will have something to offer everyone.
