Hull is blessed with some of the country's great festivals. Coming up later this year are two very different events - the 17th Hull Jazz Festival and the 3rd Hull Comedy Festival. The Jazz Festival line-up will include Ray Gelato and the Giants, Omar Puente's Cuba 50, Empirical, Iain Dixon, Alex Wilson, Courtney Pine and Carol Kidd The Comedy Festival will bring to Hull some of the biggest names in comedy: Alistair McGowan, Mitch Benn, Al Murray, Keith Chegwin, Stewart Francis, Rich Hall, and Ian Billings.
